About Poemeleon & Babel Fruit

Poemeleon: A Journal of Poetry

Edited by Cati Porter, Maureen Alsop, and Ren Powell, with book review editor Tom Hunley, Poemeleon features both established and emerging poets such as Tony Barnstone, Deborah Bogen, Catherine Daly, Richard Garcia, Eloise Klein Healy, Bob Hicok, Ann Fisher-Wirth, Roy Jacobstein, Corey Mesler, Shin Yu Pai, Eve Rifkah, Kathrine Varnes, and many more.

So far, each issue has been dedicated to a kind of poetry -- poems on place, ekphrastic poems, poems in form, and the prose poem, with an upcoming issue dedicated to the persona poem.

We publish twice per year and host an annual summer poetry reading in Riverside, California, the journal's homebase.

Check the website for submissions deadlines and full guidelines.
